Journal

In Finances everything is stored in journals. A journal contains accounts, transactions and currencies. When you start a new journal, you can choose from two different types of journal templates: Personal and Business. A template contains predefined accounts which makes it easy for you to start right away.

By default a journal has one currency, but you can use more than one currency in a journal.

Transactions can only use accounts from one journal. You cannot transfer money between journals.
