Finances on iOS 8

There is a new version of My Finances specifically designed for iOS 8 and the new iPhones. We are excited to share with you the improvements we made to make the app ready for iOS 8.

Today Widget

The new Today widget is available in the Today view and provides statistics of your income and expenses. By default the widget shows bar charts for today and yesterday. In App Settings > Today View you can customize the widget to include statistics for this week and this month. The widget includes transactions from all accounts.

Selecting a bar chart brings you right into the app and shows the income and expenses grouped by categories. It’s a great way to get an overview of your finances very quickly.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

My Finances also supports the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus bigger screens. On iPhone 6 Plus we went one step further and optimized the landscape view to show your a side bar similar to the iPad version. It’s a small change but makes you so much more productive.

Because of major changes under the hood, My Finances is iOS 8 only from now on. Make sure to update your devices to the latest iOS version.
