Finances 1.6 includes several improvements and new features for iOS 12 and macOS Mojave. Here is an overview of the most important features.

Transaction Templates – New transactions can now be pre-filled by templates. A template specifies the posting accounts, note and payee of new transactions. Learn More

Balance Line Chart – When you view transactions from a specific asset, liability or equity account, you see the balance of the selected account in a line chart.

Redesigned Bar Chart – Income and expense statistics are now more compact and provide a much better overview.

Notifications – Weekly and monthly report notifications now include a bar chart your income and expenses.

Siri Shortcuts – Transaction templates can be added as Siri Shortcuts to quickly create transaction with a Siri command. Learn More

macOS Mojave

Dark Mode – Finances looks great with new Dark Mode on macOS Mojave. By default Finances uses the system appearance. But you can switch between the light and dark appearance in the app preferences.

Continuity Camera – You can now scan and attach invoices to transactions using your nearby iOS 12 device. Learn More
