How can I update the date and time?

If you are using the pre-configured disk image, the date and time is updated automatically when there is an active internet connection. For this timesyncd is used.

You can also set the date and time manually if you want.

1. Connect to the Raspberry Pi via SSH
2. Set the date with date -s

1sudo date -s "$(curl -s --head http://google.com | grep ^Date: | sed 's/Date: //g')"
