What monitoring data is stored?

The saved monitoring data contains the data from received KNX telegrams. The group address, the received value and a time stamp are saved.

In order to be able to decode the received bytes, hkknx must know the data type of the respective group address. The data type is taken from the imported ETS project and a configured device.

Where is the data saved?

The data is saved and aggregated on the local hard drive. Aggregation means that older data is summarized and averaged. This saves storage space.

Where is the data displayed?

The saved data is displayed as diagrams in the detailed view of a device. There are also diagrams for “Light”, “Climate” and “Security” in the “Monitoring” tab. You can also find the monitoring data for group addresses in the web search.
