A switch in HomeKit can turn something on or off by tapping on it. You can configure the switch to either sends a single bit or a scene number.

Enable the characteristic “Power” to send a single bit to a group address. The value 1 is sent when the switch is turned on, and the value 0 when turned off.

If you enable the characteristic “Scene”, you can configure the switch to send a specific scene number when turned on. After sending the value, the switch is then automatically turned off.
